June 16: Conclusion of Testnet Voting
The final round of voting on the testnet (#15) will conclude, marking a significant milestone for VeBetterDAO. This day signifies the completion of the test phase, with rewards distributed the following day.
The closure of this phase sets the stage for VeBetterDAO's transition to the VeChainThor mainnet, signaling the end of a crucial testing period and the beginning of a new chapter.
June 17 — June 22: Transition Period
During this period, voting on decentralized applications (dApps) on VeBetterDAO will be disabled. June 17th will be notable for the payout of challenges completed in the previous week, marking the last week for testnet B3TR payouts. This step is essential for finalizing testnet activities and ensuring a smooth transition to the mainnet.
During this week, a new challenge will be released, with earnings for this challenge scheduled for payout on July 8th.
June 23 at 00:00 UTC: Final Snapshot
A crucial snapshot of all testnet token activity will be taken at this time. Post-snapshot, no further testnet activity will influence mainnet token projections. This snapshot is pivotal for accurately transferring user balances to the mainnet.
June 23 — June 28: Testnet Pause and Preparation
The VeBetterDAO testnet will be paused to prepare for deployment on the VeChainThor mainnet. This pause allows the team to ensure a seamless transition and readiness for mainnet operations.
June 28: Green Ambassador Challenge officially launches
On this day, we will leave the beta testing period behind and officially launch the Green Ambassador Challenge.

June 28 — June 30: Token Transition to Mainnet and Preparation for Voting
On June 28th, testnet token holders (B3TR, VOT3, and GM NFT) will see their balances transferred to the VeChainThor mainnet. After the transition, all tokens will be unified under the B3TR name, with mainnet B3TR balances reflecting the sum of testnet B3TR and testnet VOT3 totals.
Following the transition, from June 28th to June 30th, users will be encouraged to swap their mainnet B3TR for VOT3 in anticipation of the first voting round starting on June 30th, which coincides with VeChainThor’s birthday.
Only VOT3 tokens swapped before the round begins will be eligible to earn rewards in the first weekly B3TR distribution. This preparation phase is crucial for ensuring active participation in governance from the outset.
July 1 at 00:00 UTC: Mainnet Voting Commences
The first round of mainnet voting will kick off at this time, marking the beginning of a new era for VeBetterDAO. This initial voting round will set the tone for future governance and community engagement on the platform.
July 8: Reward Distribution
The first rewards allocation for both project owners and voters will be claimable on this date. This reward distribution will recognize and incentivize those who actively engage with and contribute to shaping the platform.
Rewards for all challenges completed in previous weeks will be paid out.
