Today, we are happy to announce a new security milestone: we have officially partnered with Guardian to further fortify our platform and ensure our platform, and with it the VeBetter ecosystem remains a fair, secure space for everyone.
What This Changes for You (Spoiler: Nothing)
The best part about this update is that you won’t even know this new security system is in place. We know how frustrating it is to deal with extra login steps or "prove you're a human" puzzles.
While we will continue to rely on extra security steps where needed, Guardian works completely in the background, without any extra barriers, clicks, or lag for users. Yet giving us the option in the background to identify, investigate and flag unwanted behaviour of people trying to farm our platform for rewards.
Proven Protection
We aren't the first to bring in Guardian. Their tech is already integrated in other major VeBetter apps like Mugshot and Cleanify. It’s been battle-tested across the ecosystem, and now we’re bringing that same level of security to our platform to help keep the entire VeBetter ecosystem safe.
Why This Matters: Fairer Rewards
The real reason we’re doing this is to protect your earnings. "Farmers" and bots who try to game the system take rewards away from the people actually deserving our rewards.
By using Guardian to block these bad actors, we’re making sure the reward pool stays honest. When we stop the bots, it results in higher payouts for our legitimate users.
Keeping the VeBetter Ecosystem Healthy
We care about the VeBetter community and health of the B3TR coin.
Fighting scammers, farmers and bots has been an ongoing battle for our platform and we will continue to remain at the forefront of fighting them. Since launch we have reported close to 25,000 farmers and cheaters to the ecosystem, stopping them from doing further damage.
Next to this we take the allocation of B3TR we receive serious: minimizing our own expenses so we can maximize reward payout to our users. Our reward payout percentage sits above 75%, while our treasury remains healthy to foster growth.
