OSAKA, JAPAN – In a collaboration at the Osaka World Expo 2025, the Green Ambassador Challenge worked together with the Republic of San Marino and the VeChain Foundation to showcase the future of blockchain-powered sustainability. The initiative, funded by GAC to promote the VeBetter platform, successfully engaged over then thousands of visitors through an interactive "mini dapp" experience, merging education with real-world rewards.
Innovating for a Greener Future
The collaboration was hosted at the San Marino Pavilion, a hub dedicated to the country's vision of becoming a "carbon-neutral" nation and a leader in technological innovation. As part of the Expo’s broader theme, "Designing Future Society for Our Lives," the partnership highlighted how Web3 technology can incentivize eco-friendly behaviors.
Visitors to the pavilion were invited to use our custom-built mini dapp (decentralized application) designed to educate them about San Marino’s sustainability goals and the VeBetter ecosystem. By participating in educational quizzes and challenges, users learned how individual actions contribute to global sustainability while exploring the utility of the VeBetter platform.
Engagement and Rewards
The initiative proved to be a major draw for the pavilion. According to recent on-chain data, over 10.000 users actively used the mini dapp during the Expo.
Participants were not just passive learners; our mini dApp utilized our "Learn-to-Earn" model, rewarding users with B3TR tokens for their engagement. These incentives allowed visitors to experience the practical benefits of the VeBetter ecosystem firsthand. Lucky participants also competed for exclusive prizes, including experiential trips to San Marino and Italy, further bridging the gap between digital engagement and physical reward.
