Here at the Green Ambassador Challenge, we believe that learning about sustainability should be as seamless, engaging, and inspiring as possible. Over the past few months, we have been listening closely to your feedback, studying how you interact with our platform, and working hard behind the scenes to craft a better digital experience.
With support and guidance from the VeChain Foundation, we hired the design experts of Efebia to help us re-imagine our platform using modern design best practices.
Today, we are thrilled to announce the rollout of this completely new design on our platform!
Our primary goal with this redesign was to dramatically improve usability and clarity, ensuring that whether you are checking your rewards on your phone during a commute or diving into a comprehensive lesson on your desktop, the experience is intuitive.
We have removed the clutter, streamlined our features, and polished the design to make sure every click, tap, and scroll feels effortless, whether you are a seasoned blockchain expert, or have zero web3 knowledge.
Here is a detailed look at what is new:
A Welcoming Homepage
Your first impression of the Green Ambassador Challenge should leave you feeling inspired and motivated to sign up. We have introduced a refined visual system across the front page, bringing harmony to our typography, colors, and spacing. You will immediately notice our new, prominent stats strip showing the collective impact of our community.
The frontpage now has clear call to actions for users to explore our educational challenges and sign up, making it clear at a glass what our platform is about, without making things overwhelming and complicated for new users.
Effortless Challenge Discovery
The Challenges Overview page is one of the core elements of our platform, and we knew we had to make finding your next challenge as easy as possible as we are rolling out more and more challenges.
We have launched a filter and sort bar, and improved category selection menu. The page is now optimised for both larger screens, as well as mobile devices with larger, easier to tap buttons..
A reworked Account Dashboard
Your personal progress is important, so we’ve made tracking your challenge progress and reward earnings simpler.
On the Account and supporting pages, you now have a much clearer overview of your holdings, earned rewards, and reward multipliers.
We have completely reworked the account dashboard so it much more user friendly for mobile users.
An Improved Quiz User Interface
We get it, taking a multiple choice test to test your knowledge can be hard and frustrating.
We have redesigned the quiz interface to make testing your knowledge a much better user experience, especially on mobile devices. You will now see your progress and current score presented much more clearly. We also overhauled the flow so you get instant feedback when you get a question right or wrong.
Under-the-Hood Optimization
A beautiful site isn't much good if it's slow.
While you might not see these changes, you will definitely feel them. We have completely rewritten the underlying engine of our platform to guarantee lightning-fast performance by caching data and improving the file sizes of pictures by switching to the WebP image format.
Community members located in more rural areas, where internet connections can be slow and spotty at times, should spot a noticeable improvement in loading speeds
