How Rewards Work
The Green Ambassador Challenge pays you B3TR tokens for passing educational challenges. Here's how the reward system works from start to finish.
The basics
Every challenge on the platform has a base reward shown on its challenge card. This is the minimum amount of B3TR you can earn by passing that challenge. Your actual payout depends on your personal multiplier, a score that grows as you engage with the platform and the VeChain ecosystem.
The formula is:
Base reward x Your multiplier = Your reward
For example, if a challenge offers a base reward of 5 B3TR and your multiplier is x4, you earn 20 B3TR.

How payouts work
Rewards follow a three-step process:
- Complete a challenge: Pass the challenge exam and your result is recorded on the platform.
- Waiting period: A short security window runs after completion. This protects the platform against abuse and ensures fair payouts.
- Automatic payout: After the waiting period, your B3TR is automatically sent to the wallet linked to your account. No action required from you.
You can track pending and completed rewards on your account page.
Where do rewards go?
Your rewards are sent to the wallet connected to your account:
- Managed wallet: Rewards are deposited into your in-app wallet. You can withdraw at any time, or keep them there to benefit from the hold duration multiplier.
- Self-hosted wallet: Rewards are sent directly to your external VeChain wallet address. No withdrawal step needed.

Important rules
- One reward per challenge: You can only earn a reward from each challenge once. Retaking a challenge you've already passed will not generate a second payout.
- Rewards are in B3TR: All payouts are made in B3TR tokens on the VeChainThor blockchain.
- Multiplier is applied at challenge start: Your multiplier determined is when you start the challenge, not at payout

What can you do with B3TR?
Once you've earned B3TR, you have several options:
- Hold it: Keeping B3TR in your wallet can increase your reward multiplier
- Convert to VOT3: Swap B3TR for VOT3 to participate in VeBetterDAO governance
- Stake it: Use auto-staking and earn additional benefits
- Explore the ecosystem: Use B3TR across other apps in the VeBetterDAO ecosystem
- Sell it: You can cash out your B3TR for dollars or other currencies using various exchanges
