Reward Multipliers
Your reward multiplier increases the amount of B3TR you earn from every challenge. The higher your multiplier, the bigger your payout.
How multipliers work
Each challenge pays you according to a simple formula:
Base reward x Your multiplier = Your reward
Your multiplier is the sum of all individual multiplier bonuses you qualify for. Everyone starts at x1, and each qualifying bonus adds to that total. The multiplier categories available to you depend on your wallet type.
Exact multiplier values and thresholds are updated regularly by the platform team to keep rewards fair and sustainable. The categories and structure below are current, but specific numbers may change.
Managed wallet multipliers
If you use the platform's built-in managed wallet, these multipliers are available to you:
| Multiplier | How to earn it |
|---|---|
| Perfect challenges | Complete a number of challenges in a row without any wrong answers. Higher streaks unlock higher bonuses. |
| Weeks active | Complete at least one challenge in multiple different weeks. The more weeks you stay active, the higher the bonus. |
| Hold duration | Keep your B3TR balance in your managed wallet without withdrawing for a number of consecutive days. Longer holds earn higher bonuses. |
| Ambassador status | A special status manually given out by us to recognize contributors and community leaders. |
The hold duration multiplier rewards patience. If you withdraw your funds, the timer resets. Think of it like staking: you benefit from keeping your tokens in place.
Self-hosted wallet multipliers
If you connect an external self-hosted wallet (such as VeWorld), you have access to a broader set of multipliers tied to your on-chain activity:

| B3TR + VOT3 balance | Hold a combined minimum of B3TR and VOT3 in your wallet. Higher combined balances unlock higher bonuses. |
| VeChain Stargate NFT | Own a Stargate NFT in your wallet. The multiplier varies by tier. See details below. |
| VeBetterDAO GM NFT | Own a Galaxy Member NFT. The multiplier varies by tier. See details below. |
| Last allocation vote | Vote in the current or most recent VeBetterDAO allocation round. Voting for any app qualifies you. |
| Ambassador status | A special status manually given out by us to recognize contributors and community leaders. |
The platform reads your wallet's state directly from the VeChainThor blockchain. NFT ownership, token balances, and voting history are all verified on-chain. No manual proof is needed.
VeChain Stargate NFTs
Stargate NFTs are tied to VeChain node ownership. Each tier corresponds to a different node level and grants a different reward multiplier. Tiers are listed from lowest to highest:

Higher tiers give larger multiplier bonuses. If you hold multiple Stargate NFTs, the highest-tier NFT in your wallet is used.
Stargate NFTs are non-transferable tokens bound to VeChain economic nodes. They were issued to node holders as part of VeChain's node staking program. Learn more in Introduction to VeChain.
VeBetterDAO Galaxy Member NFTs
Galaxy Member NFTs are part of the VeBetterDAO ecosystem. Like Stargate NFTs, they are tiered, and each tier provides a different reward multiplier. Tiers are listed from lowest to highest:

As with Stargate NFTs, the highest tier in your wallet is used for your multiplier calculation.
GM NFTs can be upgraded by participating in the VeBetterDAO ecosystem. Active participation in voting and allocation rounds contributes to your GM level.
Checking your NFT status
Your current NFT-based multiplier is visible on your account page under the multiplier breakdown. The platform checks your wallet's NFT holdings on-chain each time a reward is calculated.
If you've recently acquired a qualifying NFT and it isn't reflected yet, ensure:
- The NFT is in the same wallet address connected to your account on the Green Ambassador Challenge
- You are using a self-hosted wallet (NFT multipliers are not available for managed wallets)
Example
Say you have a self-hosted wallet with the following:
- Base multiplier: x1
- VET balance bonus: +0.5
- B3TR + VOT3 balance bonus: +0.5
- Allocation vote bonus: +1
- Galaxy Member NFT (Moon tier): +0.5
Your total multiplier would be x3.5. On a challenge with a base reward of 4 B3TR, you'd earn 14 B3TR.
